AC Shadows Unveils Unexpected Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected crossover event that challenges conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Disclosed
According to the formal announcement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of banned rituals and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret cult.
The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Changes
The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Additional Content
Players who finish the adventure will obtain an special katana in addition to numerous objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
